About Sarah

Sarah Tewhey
is a student in the Masters program at Southwest Acupuncture College in Albuquerque, New Mexico, attended Boston University and holds a BS from Lesley University in Mind-Body Studies with a
specialization in the female healing process and its relationship to female neuroscience. She completed two years of extensive training at The Ayurvedic Institute in Albuquerque,
New Mexico with Dr. Vasant Lad and studied Tibetan Buddhism in Kathmandu, Nepal with Naropa University. Sarah is the the Executive Assistant and the New Orleans Program Coordinator for the non-profit organization Acupuncturists Without Borders, which is currently engaged in recovery
efforts in New Orleans. She is also the owner of Shubha. Sarah is committed to bringing accessible and integrative healthcare into under-served communities around the world.
